Podcasting is a hot topic. It isn’t new, people have been podcasting for years, but it has really gained traction in the past 12 months. I get asked about podcasting all the time, and whilst I get interviewed on a lot of podcasts, and appear monthly with Tim Reid on the Small Business Big Marketing show, I have to say, I don’t know much about it – but I am learning.
Recently I was interviewed by Ronsley Vaz, one of the rising stars in the podcasting world. To say Ronsley is passionate about podcasting is a major understatement. He is teaching people, across all industries how to podcast – and getting some fantastic results.
So, I have asked Ronsley to do a webinar with me, where we can talk about the good, the bad and the ugly of the podcasting world.
The questions I plan to ask include:
- Is podcasting a good medium for you to reach your audience?
- How complicated is it to become a podcaster?
- How often do you need to podcast?
- What are the most common mistakes that newbie podcasters make?
- What are the most important things to consider to help create a successful podcast?
- Where can you find more information about podcasting?
Now this is a free webinar, scheduled for 11am (AEDT) Thursday 15th of January. Please register now if you would like to listen in, and everyone who is registered will also get a link to the recording. To book in for this free webinar CLICK HERE. Would LOVE to do the webinar with you guys!
I listen to Ronsley everyday and he is awesome! I have already mentioned to him the topic I would like to talk about on my Podcasts. I’m excited about this!
Love you guys to the MAX

Awesome – thanks Claire Bear! I’m starting a podcast next year and Rons is my coach – so I’m pretty excited. And I think a lot of people would be great at doing podcasts, yourself included, so the more we know the better. Looking forward to it. Have a great Christmas – Andrew X
I listened in on Ronsleys last podcast for KPI’ers and was blown away. Looking forward to learning more!! Baby steps. 🙂
Yeah, same for me Desley. One step at a time, the odd stumble, but we get there in the end right?
I’m currently doing Ronsley’s Podcasting course and it’s super-detailed – he’s really packed in everything he knows to ensure we get the best podcast we can
I’m working with him as well Dallas – great stuff. I think his passion about podcasting is very cool. Tim Reid, the grand master of podcasting is another incredible source of podcasting magic – kind of the old battle hardened podcaster and the young buck – both very cool.
Yes please, I’m in for a listen. So wanted to do Ronsley’s Podcast course next year however juggling too many balls at the moment and this ball would be dropped – needing to clear my slate and hopefully jump on board if he runs another one mid 2015. So I’ll be there listening, can’t wait.
Hey Helga, I understand. There is only so much that we can fit into a busy schedule. I’m going to be asking Rons the questions I want answered, most of which I am hoping will be relevant to all listeners. So it might help you to do some preplanning for when you are ready to start your own podcasting.
Cheers – and have a great Christmas – Andrew
I’ll be there not just for the amazing content that I know you and Ronsley provide but also for his dulcet tones… Ronz you have a beautiful on-air voice. Your not to bad yourself Andrew 🙂 Looking to podcast in 2015. Bring it on.
Awwwww thanks Linda. Thanks for signing up. Wishing you an AWESOME 2015. Cheers – Andrew
FABULOUS show! Thank you Andrew and Ronsley. Been hovering on the edge and think I’ve just been pushed over. One of the advantages of podcasts over video is you can do them in your … PJs. However, was dismayed to hear Ronsley say to NOT buy any of those USB mics. That was the moment I glanced over to my brand new Blue Snowball mic. 🙁
Well if you can do them in your PJ’s what are we waiting for? Victoria you know I do lots of webinars, you’ve listened to plenty of them……all I’m going to say is that I’m only wearing a three piece suit in 5% of webinars……X
